Glasgow Scottish Masters

2 July 2006 (Every year)

Every year Masters Football pits teams of six against each other and builds to a national final. The Scottish Masters leg is held at Glasgow's Braehead Arena.

The competition sees some of the country's most popular players returning to the pitch. The teams are associated with major clubs and the regulations are such that players, the minimum age for which is 35, must have had a professional contract with their respective team.

The teams in the Scottish Masters are from Rangers, Celtic, Aberdeen and Motherwell. The battle is on to follow Leicester, who beat Chelsea to take the Masters title in 2005.
